Downtown Gatlinburg

We were in Gatlinburg for Kate's Wedding. We had just finished

breakfast and on our way back to the hotel.

Miller was invited to Maggie's B-day
party. Maggie is a yellow Lab and belongs to Marie,
a friend from work. However the party was canceled due
to weather. Marie brought Miller a bag of Party favors!
He loves his doggy with the big eyes!

On our daily trip to the lake, I stopped by

and got Miller's friend Bailey. They had so much fun playing in the water.

Komen Atlanta Breast Cancer 5k--5/9/09

Breast Cancer 5k down at Atlantic Station
This is the 3rd year Ashley and I have run this race.
We had nice people go this year. In the bottom rt corner
Sharon, Tanya, Jennifer, Ashley, Kate, Beth, Jen, Darcee, an LJ.
The top right picture is Buffy (cntr) Brunner from work. This is
her 10 year anniversary as a survivor!!! Her daughter is on the left, Tina.
She will be doing the 3 day in October. If any one wants to donate...leave me a comment and let you know how to get the money to her. She has to
raise $2300.

Gwinnett Road Race 5k-05-02-09

The Blimpie 5k held at Suwanee Towncenter

Blimpie is the sponsor of the Gwinnett Road Race..

hence the name. This was our first race of the year.

The race goes from the park down to the greenway

and back for 3.2 miles. Beth won 3rd place in her age

group which I will not mention. I was in the group with all

faster people........

Louie

This is Louie "guarding" the stairs so
nobody can go down.

He thinks he is going to stop me from
going down.

He's going to try and hide under the ledge of the step
so I can't see him

He knows I can get him and now he getting ready
to "get me"!!

We are on our way to the Cirque du Soleil down at

Atlanta Stataion. Of all days for it to snow.

Emily spent all day with us looking for dresses. She is such a
great shopper. Never acted up once. Here she was "posing" for
a picture and the static was so bad by the plastic her hair was
standing up.

jan 18th..little late posting

While Kate was looking for wedding dresses....

and keeping ourselves entertained...

We showed Kate these accesories that would be perfect for a spring wedding....

We nabbed a guy shopping with his

finance'. He tried on a dress too!!

His finance' came around the corner

and was such a sport....She said, "You didn't want to

be here and here you are trying on dresses".

They got married on Valentine's Day.

On Jan 18....wedding dress hunting.....

This is salsa actually made in this stone bowl. It belonged
to Vidal's grandmother. Talk about really good salsa...

surprise. She had invited me over for dinner.

She and Tanya were making dinner.

A Mexican Dinner...all home made.

Vidal was the chef of the steak fajita's.

He has a home made marinade he puts on the meat

before cooking it.............. Yummy!!!
